Business Development Lead – Enterprise Segment

With a robust focus on innovation and customer success, we are seeking a dynamic Business Development Lead to drive growth by identifying, onboarding, and nurturing relationships with large enterprise clients.

Role Overview

As the Business Development Lead, you will be instrumental in driving the expansion of our enterprise customer base. You will focus on prospecting, negotiating, and onboarding large-scale enterprise clients while ensuring they successfully integrate our solutions. Your ability to combine strategic thinking, strong relationship management, and technical insights – especially around APIs – will be critical in shaping and sustaining long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Enterprise Customer Acquisition
    • Identify and pursue opportunities to engage with large enterprise customers.
    • Develop and execute outreach strategies to establish relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
    • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure.

  • Customer Onboarding & Success
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process for enterprise clients.
    • Act as the primary point of contact during the initial stages, facilitating smooth integration and adoption of the SaaS platform.

  • Technical Collaboration
    • Understand client technical requirements and communicate effectively with product and development teams. 
    • Provide insights and guidance on API integrations and help customers unlock the full potential of our possibilities.
    • Serve as a bridge between technical teams and enterprise stakeholders, translating technical capabilities into business benefits.

  • Relationship Management & Growth 
    • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with enterprise customers, acting as a trusted advisor.
    • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities by understanding clients' evolving needs.

  • Market & Competitive Analysis
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to refine strategies.
    • Provide feedback to the product team to align features with enterprise client needs. 

Qualifications & Skills 

  • Experience
    • Proven track record in business development, sales, or a related role. Experience within SaaS is a bonus.
    • Strong experience with long sales cycles, complex deals, and large-scale customer onboarding. 
  • Technical Expertise

    • Familiarity with APIs and ability to discuss technical integration with clients is a plus.

    • Comfortable collaborating with development teams and presenting technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders. 

  • Soft Skills

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    • Results-driven with a strategic mindset and attention to detail. 

    • You speak and write Dutch and English fluently. For our international customers, French is definitely a plus.
