An IMR or Invoice Message Response allows recipients of electronic invoices to provide detailed feedback on the received invoice.
You can compare an IMR message to a a blue tick in WhatsApp but it gives much more insight than a regular read confirmation.
You can find IMR messages under 'Messages' underneath each invoice you have sent via Peppol (you can find invoices under 'Income' > 'Invoices').
The most recent IMR message is at the top.
There are seven types of IMR messages:
In addition to IMR messages, Billit customers can still receive MLR or Message Level Response messages. These MLR messages provide you with technical feedback from the Peppol network. However, as a Billit customer you do not need to consider the distinction between these two messages. You will receive, via the Billit e-invoice platform, the different messages in a clear way in the message box in the invoice detail page.
