When you've chosen a template you will see the layout settings for this template below. It consists of a header - with the template name and margins above and below - and a layout screen.
You can change your invoice layout in different ways. The invoice layout always consists of three types of elements:
Because Billit uses label keys and content keys, an invoice is always automatically sent in the language of your customer (this is the language you assign to your customer in their file).
The available languages are: Bulgarian, Danish, German, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, Greek, Hungarian, Irish, Italian, Croatian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovenian, Slovakian, Spanish, Czech, Swedish.
You can also provide a different lay-out for a specific language. Click the plus sign next to the tab 'Global'. Here you can choose for which languages you want to set a different layout. When you check a language via the plus tab, the layout of the global template will be copied to the template for that language. If you change this layout verison (in the editor or via CSS code) it will only apply to that language. The style of the global template will apply to all languages where no specific language was checked or added in the template.
Please note: the automatic translation only applies if you use the existing label keys. If you want to add different text and and don't want to use a label key, this text will not be translated automatically and you have to provide a translation yourself. You can add this translation to the specific template for that language.
