Projects

The ‘Projects’ module in Billit gives you a better overview of your work and makes it easy to track the budget spent and hours worked for each project. You can also easily register and invoice hours worked from within a project.

  • Create a project
    Down
    1. Go to the platform and click ‘Projects’ in the left-hand column.
    2. Click the ‘Create a project’ button at the top right.
    3. Specify which stage the project is in: ‘Prospect’, ‘In progress’, ‘Finished’, or ‘Cancelled’.
    4. Enter the project details. Only the project name is required, all other details are optional:
      1. Project name
      2. Customer
      3. Reference
      4. Project duration: the current date is set as the start date by default
      5. Note
      6. Budget: the total projected budget for the project in euros
      7. Time budget: the anticipated number of hours to be worked on the project
      8. Hourly rate: the standard rate for the hours you spend on this project
    5. Click ‘Save’ at the bottom. You can edit the data later.
    6. You are now taken to the project sheet. This is where, as you work on the project, you will get a progress summary and an overview of the time registrations, incomes, and expenses you allocate to the project.
